Cadbury in Snow episode of mild peril

We have around 4" of snow here at Barrington.
I Love playing in the snow.
It's a great opportunity to hone my fantastic smelling skills.
A quick check to make sure know one is watching.
and that's it I'm in.
I'm sure it's here somewhere.
I will keep looking.
Be careful where you run around in the snow.
I was in the middle of a ploughed field
and twisted my Paw.
Don't worry It's all OK now.

Friday 17 December 2010

It's My Birthday and I'll stay out of the snow if you don't mind.

It's Cadbury's Birthday Today
he is 5 years old
That's 35 in dog years.
How Time flies
He was such a cute little puppy.

Let it Snow...

Here in Barrington the Snow has finally Fallen
late on Wednesday Night.
It may be cold, but I love playing in the snow.
We walked down to the workshop
There are lots of great smells to check out.
The workshop looked a picture, but was just as cold inside.
Snow is great for kids to play out in
but I will give you one tip.
Kids, Have fun in the snow but
" Never, Never Eat Yellow Snow".

Bath Time

As an active dog who loves to play football,
One of the pleasures in life is the Bath at the end of the match.
This is my own bath, that doubles up as play pit when the weather is good.

I love splashing about.

and it's a struggle in the end to get me out of it.
so they tempted me out with a treat.

Luckily this was back in the summer
when I was able to dry myself in the sun.

Unlike today where the snow is just starting to fall.
I love playing in the snow. so look out for some fun shots soon.

Monday 1 November 2010

Somebody just made a big mistake.

I was just chilling out in the Autumn sun.

There are not many cats in Barrington,
it's more of a dog Village.
and this new little chap, just had his first lesson.

Don't stray into my patch.
I Haven't seen him again, so I think he got the message.

The Bee's Knees

After a miserable start to the day with rain and drizzle
later on in the afternoon the sun came out and we went for a walk around the grounds
here at Barrington Court.
I read this sign and decided to turn around.
I'm not going in there!

But Paul the potter decided it would make for an interesting walk.

Oh what a surprise Bee Hives!

and what do Bee's do if you stick your nose on the door to the Hive.

Yep, They sting you.
 right on the hooter!
Ouch!!
and on the back
But after a good roll around I soon felt better.
I don't know how Winne the Phoo did it.

Having Friends around for Tea and Napps.

This is my old friend Archie, He came around to spend a day at the workshop
with me a few days ago.
Archie is Twelve Year Old.
as you can see I was unsure what to do with him at first.

But Archie is an old hand at this sort of thing and we soon got down to some serious napping.

Although Archie did love all of the attention he got from the customers.
while I was happy to let him
take the Lead.

Cute Dog Picture

As promised here is the cute picture of me when I was only a little chap
Marion was gardening outside the front garden
and I wanted to see what she was doing.
I'm not sure I would fit now!
And this Picture shows my very first Friend Skye.
She was Paul's dog that they had before they got me.
she was a rescue dog with Issues, but looked after me like a mum.
Six months on and she got a tumour in her throat and she was no more.
This was my other little friend
who used to visit our bird feeder.
It was great fun chasing after him, but we haven't seen him for some time now.
I didn't eat him honest!
and this was me and my mum collecting Holly for the Christmas decorations
a few years ago.
I Love it when we go out looking for the decorations
we walk for hours and I get to sniff all sorts of stuff

He's Having a clean up.

Paul has been having a big spring clean in the workshop
In August ?
I don't understand these potters.
anyway I decided the best possible move was to sit out side and let him get on with it.
I would have helped , But you know how it is..
That's the cleanest I've seen his clay prep area since he moved in!
All that dust doesn't do my fur any good
so I went outside for a good scratch around on the grass.
when he had finished we went for a nice long walk down the lanes
and I spotted these rather delicious berries.
unfortunately there were to high up for me.

I found a rather cute picture of me looking under the fence when I was a puppy
so I'll post that one up next time.

see you at the workshop soon.

I'm Glad to see the Pajero Back

As you may know, my usual mode of transport is the Mitsibushi Pajero
which has a certain amount of style and a commanding presence on the road.

So you can imagine the look on my face when they asked me to get in this
Courtesy car
Even I recognised it as a Skoda
 ( I'd rather walk said I )
They tried all sorts of tricks to get me in the back
but I wasn't having any of it.

Marion finally decided to meet with my demands
which were.
1. I will only sit in the front seat.
2. Marion is to teach me how to drive.
Paul had to sit in the back.
I think I've mastered driving now and have been looking on eBay
for my own vehicle.
that's a hint for my Christmas present!
I didn't mind roughing it a bit but I'm glad to see the Pajero back.
I've got used to my mirrored windows, I can see you but you
cant see me, a bit like one of those long limos the film stars use.
